Academic and study support

There is a range of support available to you to assist your study at Dartington. This starts with your academic teams but importantly continues with our support staff who are able to advise on strategies to strengthen your study skills, and provide advice and guidance about how best to engage with your course.

1. PERSONAL TUTORS

From day one and throughout your studies you will have the support of a Personal Tutor. They will organise regular termly meetings and they will want to listen and respond to any questions or concerns you have. Their role is to provide you with ongoing support and guidance and also to signpost you to other services you may need.

2. STUDY SUPPORT

We have specialist advisers who can help you to develop the skills you need to get the most out of your study. We want you to feel independent and confident and our advisers can provide you with tools and strategies to enhance your academic potential. We can also refer you to more specialist support if necessary.

For any questions you have concerning your study with us contact either your personal tutor or a member of the Taught Programmes team in the first instance.
