postgraduate courses fees
We have two tuition fee tariffs that distinguish between:
- Students who do not need a visa
- Students who need a Student Visa and are sponsored by us (these are generally from outside of the UK. The higher fees reflect the additional costs to the College arising from the statutory terms of Student VIsa sponsorship, put in place by the UK Visas and Immigration)
In addition to this, some programmes incur extra, programme-specific fees – please ensure you read this page in full to understand the fees breakdown for your course. Please note that from September 2022, programmes no longer carry an associated programme-specific fee.
Students can apply (if they are eligible) for tuition loans to Student Loans Company England.
Our Tuition Fee Policy can be found here.

Programme-specific fees – postgraduate courses
The ‘Programme Specific Fee’ covers items such as course-related consumables and material costs, field trips, on-site and off-site workshops, equipment purchase, hire and maintenance, any specialised computing hardware and software and access to community learning resources, opportunities, and events. If you were to study your course part-time this would be a one off payment to cover the above for the two years, you would not get charged the same for the second year of your part-time study.

Our current status as an approved higher education provider by the Office for Students allows undergraduate students from England to draw down a loan of up to £6,000 per year (full time) and £4,500 per year (part time) to part-cover their tuition fees, and up to a further £9,488 for maintenance.
We are offering up to 25 bursaries of £3,250 to cover the difference between the Student Loan and the tuition fee for the first year of study. The scheme is open to all full-time applicants applying from England who are eligible to apply for support from Student Loans Company England and are starting their studies in September 2022. The scheme will work on a first come first served basis. To apply simply complete a degree application in the usual way via UCAS. Part time undergraduate students applying from England are eligible for a bursary of £1,050 as part of the same scheme, to cover the difference between the annual part time Student Loan and the tuition fee.
