Performance and Movement Art Residency
Schumacher offers Artist Residencies for independent companies, arts organisations and freelance movement artists working at the creative intersections of art and ecology. Our studio space is multipurpose, integrating a 6x8m sprung dance floor alongside an 8x8m maker-space.
We encourage creative collectives to come and stay, whether you are incubating a new creative idea, working on a performance project, rehearsing for a dance or theatre piece, or simply seeking an open space to try out your creative ideas.
Artist Residential Rate
(MINIMUM STAY 3X NIGHTS)
£67 per person per day includes:
- Single room accommodation plus breakfast, lunch and dinner (please note all our meals are vegetarian and freshly prepared),
- Access to Schumacher library
- Tea/coffee facilities
- 24 hour free Wi-Fi
Studio Hire Rates
- £20 per hour
- £100 per day
- £60 per half day (x4 hrs)
