Our Programmes
Our programmes celebrate the ethos of learning by doing, participation and nature connection developed here at Schumacher College and across a century of arts learning on the Dartington estate. They unite ecology, craft, poetry and contemporary art with politics, economics, philosophy and social justice, underpinned by a stronger sense of our place in the world.
Our learning ethos is about participation, getting out into the woods, into the field, and into the kitchen. It involves learning not only with our heads, but also with our hands and hearts. Not only in the classroom but also in the community.
